Turkey and Korea continuously have been in good relations as brother countries. During the Korean War, Turkey helped Korea by sending many soldiers. Also, through the 2002 World Cup, Korea and Turkey have showed their friendship. Many people in Turkey are interested to learn more about Korea. Additionally, many people in Korea visit Turkey to travel. The two countries share connections as brother countries. Also, through Korean classes, I hope that Turkish students get to know more about Korea. I look forward to meeting more students. Thank you.

Korean Language Class at Bilkent University

Korean language lectures are held at the Center for Language Education at BilKen University since the fall of 2016. Currently, Korean lectures are continuing for the students of the University of Bilkent. Korean lectures are elective courses. You can earn three credits by taking two classes per week that are two hours long each. Currently, Korean FRL 195.196.197 is being taught. Higher Korean language courses will be held in the future. Students who study Korean through Korean lectures will be able to take the TOPIK Exam that is annually held by the Korean government here in Ankara.
